In 2014 I volunteered on an old Established intentional community outside Copenhagen called Svanholm. The work was agricultural, and the setting was rolling hills covered in forests or crops and scattered with jersey cows and little cottages. In the afternoons, before a wonderful shared meal of freshly grown produce I was inspired to paint in the attic room I had been assigned.
