Many of these paintings were inspired by Brisbane landscapes, places and themes that have formed me. My life in Brisbane has been nurtured, sustained with interest, by special sublime places, hidden reservoirs of unsung beauty. To sit in these places and soak up the ambience, is in actuality the experience of painting. Exploring techniques, discussing the differing light of day, annotating the experiential, it’s this dedicated joy that I wish to share with others.
